I did not train for the 400 m this year so I should be satisfied with my time which is one of the fastest in my career. I need more motivation for this event. It is possible that in future, even maybe next year, I will focus more on the 400 m.

I felt very confident tonight. Some fatigue was to be expected after Berlin but that was not the case. I wanted to run a sub-49 seconds this season and I was able to fulfill that goal tonight. One more to go and I will win the jackpot for the third time. And yes, after the tough programme in Berlin I was able to run my fastest of the year. That gives a lot of motivation for faster times in future, hopefully in the low 48 region.
